Alvin Ramard, 56, Memphis, Tennessee, formerly of St. Joseph du Moine passed away in Methodist University Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee, on December 28, 2018. Born in St. Joseph du Moine, N.S., he was the son of Marguerite (Chiasson) Ramard and the late Jim Dan Ramard. Alvin was a graduate of Dalhousie University, T.U.N.S. with a degree in electrical engineering and a degree in Computer System Analyst from Information Technology Institute (I.T.I.). He resided in Memphis, Tennessee for the last 20 years working as a computer analyst. He is survived by his mother, Marguerite Ramard; son, Luke Ramard; brother, Roger(Bernice) Romard; sisters, Helena(Mike) MacDougall; Bernice Campbell and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, Ernest Ramard. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 26, from 9:30 a.m. until time of funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, St. Joseph du Moine with Father Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish.
