“Adrienne” Clothilde Boudreau

“Adrienne” Clothilde Boudreau

Adrienne Clothilde Boudreau, 93, died peacefully at the Foyer Père Fiset in Chéticamp on January 9, 2019. Born in Chéticamp, she was the daughter of the late Octave and Alma (LeLièvre) Aucoin. She was a member of Les Dames de Sainte Anne, Le Club des Retraités and St. Peter’s Church. Adrienne lived a long and very active life. She will be dearly missed, but is leaving us with so many wonderful memories and life lessons. Throughout the years, she enjoyed being surrounded with family and friends. She was a very spiritual person, who enjoyed cooking and baking, picking berries, hooking, knitting and quilting blankets for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed dancing and playing cards, travelling with friends by car and bus trips to various places including Ste. Anne de Beaupré several times. She always found time to visit family and friends, especially the elderly and the ill. Surviving are her daughter, Claudette (Patrick) LeBlanc, daughter-in-law, Margaret Boudreau; grandchildren, Glenda (Tommy) LeBlanc, Joan (Marcel) Aucoin, Michael (Paulette) LeBlanc, and Brian (Kathleen) Boudreau; great-grandchildren, Cameron, Craig, Justin, Julien and Dana. She is survived by brother, Jean Roland Aucoin, New Waterford. She was predeceased by husband, Léo P. Boudreau, three sons, Lionel, Claude and Yvon, as well as great-grandchild, Melanie LeBlanc and brother, Gregoire Aucoin. Visitation will be held in Cheticamp Funeral Home on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 2-3:30 p.m. Funeral mass to follow at 4 p.m. in Église Saint-Pierre, Chéticamp with Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial at a later date in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Foyer Père Fiset or the Alzheimer Society.
