Age 83, Cheticamp passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at home. He was a son to the late Eddie John and the late Annie (Poirier) Poirier.
Charlie was a man of few words. He preferred to express his love through actions. One example was seen in the devotion and care he showed to his wife, Pauline, during their 57 years of marriage. When Charlie wasn’t with Pauline and his family, he was happiest when fishing with his great friends.
Charlie is survived by his son, Robert Leo (Michelle) Poirier; brothers, Roger (Priscille) Poirier, Willie Joe (Dorella) Poirier, Albert (Doris) Poirier, Roland Poirier; sister, Jeannine Poirier. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline Poirier.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:30 am in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheticamp. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Condolences
My thoughts and prayers are with you Robert & Michelle during this most difficult time – you have been like family most of my life & if there is anything you need, please let me know. Charlie & Pauline were the kindest of people & will be missed by all who knew them.
So sorry to hear of Charlie’s passing. I remember the many times of how kind he was to my grandmother Marie Louise when we did the groceries at Robins many years ago. Whatever grocery item or meat she needed, somehow he got it for her and always with a smile. He was a very kind man. Sincere condolences to his family.
TO THE FAMILY OF CHARLIE AND PAULINE, OUR SYMPATHY ON THE PASSING OF CHARLIE AND PAULINE.
Charlie was my boss and my friend he will be missed by all who love him.
Sincères sympathies à Robert et toute la famille de Charlie et Pauline. Gardez vos mémoires dans vos coeurs.
