Condolences
Aunt Diane was special to us in many ways. We marvelled at her crafts and handiwork over the years, appreciated her generosity during our visits and in recent times, she happily helped guide me in understanding our family tree and about our Acadian heritage that means so much to us. Our deepest sympathies to Uncle Clovis, and our cousins Nicole, Marc, Suzanne and their families. May she rest in peace.
Diane was my cousin on my father’s side. Every summer, when I was a kid, my family went home to Cheticamp, and I’d get to visit with Diane and her family. Diane was always taking care of some child, or making sure we were being safe. Later on, she went on to become a nurse, and I heard how caring and hard working she was with all her patients. I saw her with her own family. She was a remarkable person. I was so sorry to hear that she suffered in her battle with cancer. My condolences to you all . May she rest in peace, she will be missed.
My sincere condolences to Clovis and family. I too worked with Diane during our Public Health Days on a Special Project which brought a small group of us together in beautiful Cheticamp where Diane extended warm hospitality to us over a period of monthly visits. She was a very dedicated and capable Public Health Nurse and it was a pleasure to have known her. God Bless you all. Rest In Peace Diane.
Dear Clovis and family, We were so so very sad to hear of Diane ‘s passing . She was always so kind to our family when we were in the area. Our thoughts are with you and we know that you will all help each other thru this. Love to all of you

My sincere condolences to all the family. We worked in adjacent districts as public health nurses for many years and spent lots of days together. I was so saddened to hear of her passing. May the Lord cover you with his great comfort and peace as you grieve her passing.

Clovis,
When I think of Diane, a smile comes across my lips! Her “frenchy” sayings, and her laugh was second to none. What a bright star she will shine! Sorry to her of her passing. She will be remembered fondly. Angela Dobson, Colleague, Public Health Canso, N.S.

My condolences to Diane’s family on her passing. I worked as a Public Health Nurse in Cheticamp prior to Diane starting in that position. I know her community benefitted greatly from the care and dedication she brought to her job there. She was always friendly and had a down to earth attitude, and always spoke fondly of her family. It was a pleasure to know her.
Sincerely,
Bev. Mac Leod( ( formerly Bev. Cash, PHN)
I was shocked and very saddened to read of Diane’s death in today’s paper . I had such respect and admiration for her. She was a great Public Health Nurse And was always interested in the familial connection of various diseases . I admired her artistic talent and several years ago I did manage to see samples of her quilting in. Belle Côte and Inverness. I treasure the samples of her hooking that she gave to me many years ago , the Christmas ones are part of our Christmas every year .
