Age 62, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. He was the son to the late Ulysses and the late Phyllis (Bourgeois) LeLièvre.
Gerard is survived by his brothers, Clarence (Lola) LeLièvre, Roland (Yvette) LeLièvre; and sister, Sylvia LeLièvre.
There will be no visitation or funeral service.
Memorial donations in Gerard’s memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
We want to thank the Paramedics, First Responders, hospital staff, and everyone who were very understanding and supportive. Also, special thanks to Georgina for her loving care and support for Gerard over the years….Grand Merci!

It’s been a long time but, throughout our school years, Gérard was a dear friend…we laughed a lot. Life eventually took us In different directions but every time we saw each other, (usually during summer vacation), it was like we had never been apart…more laughing! He was a good man, taken way too soon; Rest In Peace, dear friend!

A life long friend that had a heart so loving and giving. He always called me the little brother he never had. As I called him my big brother. I am with such a heavy heart and will miss him so much. Say hi to your mom Phyllis for me as I know you are with her now.
