Age 88 of Cheticamp – passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Foyer Père Fiset Guest Home, Cheticamp. Eddie was a son to the late Patrick “Paddé” and the late Josephine (Roach) Boudreau.
Eddie was a lumberjack for most of his life. He was an avid fan of the Pittsburg Penguin’s, which made for interesting times, as Madelaine is an avid Habs fan. He enjoyed playing bingo and a good game of cards, and loved his Caramilk chocolate bars.
Eddie is survived by his wife, Madelaine Poirier; daughter, Josephine Boudreau; sisters, Therese Deveau, Marie Mae Fiset, Elizabeth (Leonard) Aucoin, Marie Rose (Yvon) Chiasson, and Marie Alice (Roger) LeFort; grandson, Spencer Petrie.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a son in infancy; brothers, Leo, Charles, Henri Joe, Wilfred, Paulite, and Joseph Levi; sisters, Marie Louise Muise, Judy Aucoin, and Lucie Anne Chiasson.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:30 AM in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheticamp with Father Peter LeBlanc officiating.
Memorial donations may be made in Eddie’s memory to the Foyer Père Fiset Guest Home or a charity of your choice.
