Age 83, Foyer Père Fiset, Chéticamp, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Chéticamp.
Catherine was a daughter of the late Willie and the late Yvonne (Camus) Muise.
She was a Fish Plant worker and loved to hook rugs. In 2018, Catherine moved to Highland Manor in Neil’s Harbour, and in 2019 was transferred to the Foyer Père Fiset, Chéticamp.
Catherine is survived by a son Michael Jr.; and daughter, Bonnie (late Alphonse) Boudreau; special friends, Bertha Mae and Harvey Camus, and Darrell Deveau. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Black; twin daughters, Debbie and Kelly (in infancy); brother, Vince.
Special thanks to Dr. Paul Sonier and staff of the Foyer Père Fiset and most recently the staff of the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, for their unending devotion and care.
Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in Jehovah’s Witness Cemetery, at a later date. Donations may be made to Foyer Père Fiset, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre.
