Age 90, Plateau, occurred on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at home. Thérèse was a daughter of the late Louis and the late Rose (Chiasson) Roach.
Thérèse worked at the fish plant for 26 years. She was involved in many Auxiliaries and was a volunteer at the Foyer Père Fiset. She loved to play 200 and bingo.
Thérèse is survived by a son, Joseph Russell Harris; daughters, Dianne (Ronnie) Landry, Corinne Harris, Annette Marchand, Eileen Romard, and Lisette Poirier; sisters, Helene Rose Roach, Elizabeth Aucoin, Emilia Harris, and Cecile Felix; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Thérèse was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Paul Harris; sons, Willie John Harris, and Joseph Daniel Harris; daughter, Marie Sylvia (Harris) Marchand; brothers, Jean Nazaire Roach, Gracien Roach, Albert Roach; sisters, Bella Poirier, Laurette Harris, Yvonne Gallant, Zelina Roach, Louise Ann Chiasson, and Marie Annie Larade.
There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 10:30 am in l’Église St. Pierre, Cheticamp with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
