Age 78, Cheticamp passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. She was a daughter to the late Leo and the late Dorothy (Buckles) Aucoin.
Pauline was a loving wife of 52 years and a loving mother. She will be remembered for her quietness and kindness. Pauline was always glad to have visits (3 or 4 times a day) from her bonus furry grandchild, Sage, the cat.
Pauline is survived by her husband, Charlie Poirier; son, Robert Leo (Michelle) Poirier; daughter, Susan Neuman; sister, Therese (Greg) LeBlanc; grandchildren, James Neuman, Crystal Neuman, Shawn Neuman, Janice Neuman, and Matthew Neuman; 9 great-grandchildren; niece, Tina Urquart; and great-niece, Amanda McDonald.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Harold Aucoin, and Willie Dan Aucoin.
A private graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Cheticamp.
