Age 83, Cheticamp, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. He was a son of the late Charles Henry and the late Mary Rose (Roach) Boudreau.
Raymond will be dearly missed by his best friend, Carolyn and her family; sister-in-law, Hilda Boudreau; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Raymond was predeceased by his brothers, Clary, Frank, and Andrew.
Raymond could be found playing guitar at the AMAC, having coffee with the coffee group, where he shared his jokes and swapped stories. Raymond was an avid fisherman, enjoying trips to Cheticamp Lake. He loved hunting, snowmobiling, and ATVing. He was always happiest with family and friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the Funeral Home, Drs. Amelie, Chiasson, and Sonier, and all the hospital staff who took such great care of him during his illness. A special thank you to Dr. Ritter, Moira, and Jean, from Palliative Care.
Funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 11:00 am in St. Peter’s Church, Cheticamp with Father Silvichan Dominic officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.
