Rose Marie LeBlanc

June 12, 1947 – August 17, 2022

Age 75 –  Our loving sister passed peacefully at the Foyer Père Fiset Guest Home, Cheticamp. The second oldest of eight children she truly was our matriarch, always calling for some news, never forgetting a birthday, anniversary, or Christmas card. Rose loved children and was a social butterfly! She had a gift for remembering dates and numbers; loved playing crazy eights, making puzzles, scrapbooking, and giving out her famous recipe books! Being a resident of the Chémoi Group Home for over twenty years, she made many friends with staff and other residents there as well as at the Green Door.

Rose is survived by her seven siblings Emile (special friend Anna), Richard (Linda), Leona, Jeanita (Alex), David (Eldora), Leon (Anne-Marie), Phillipe (Marcelle) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Lévi and Marie Henriette LeBlanc.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at St. Michael’s Church, Margaree from 10:00 am until time of funeral mass at 11:00 am with Father Silvichan Dominic officiating. Burial to follow in the parish cemetery.

We will miss our sister but take solace that she is at rest and will be reunited with our mom and dad.
