Thérèse Aucoin

Age 73, of Cheticamp which occurred on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Sacred Heart Community Centre, Cheticamp with her family by her side. Born in Cheticamp, she was a daughter of the late Aimable and Hélène Mae (Larade) Aucoin. She is survived by her son, Kenneth James (Stephanie) Aucoin; daughter, Myra Patricia (Glen) Muise; brothers, James/Jimmy (Catherine) Aucoin; sisters, Lucy Larade, Dorothy Haché and Patricia (Bobby) Aucoin; grandchildren, Benson and Beckett Aucoin and Luc Muise. She was predeceased by brothers, Joseph William and François Aucoin and sister Thérèse Gelina Aucoin. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 1, from 7-9 p.m. in Cheticamp Funeral Home, Cheticamp. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 2, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church, Cheticamp with Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Cape Breton Cancer Patient Care Fund or to La Fondation l’hopital du Sacré-Coeur.
