Born in Margaree, she was a daughter of the late Thomas L. and Mary Lucy (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. Dora was a lifetime member and past president of the Catholic Women\u2019s League (CWL). She was very active in the church and in the community. Dora worked for many years as a bookkeeper and was well known for her humor and saying what she thought. J Survived by her daughter, Denise Carignan, Margaree; sister, Florence Charrier, St. Jean sur Richelieu, Quebec; many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Jean Carignan; brothers, Joseph (Josie), Johnnie, Simon and Fidel in infancy; sisters Mary Ellen, Rose, Emma, Justina, Jane, Bertha. Martha and Sophie who died in infancy. There will be a visitation in St. Michael\u2019s Church, Margaree on October 27<sup>th<\/sup> from 10-11 a.m. from at which time the funeral mass will be celebrated with Fr. Macdonald Ibeh officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. A luncheon will be served following funeral mass in St. Michael\u2019s Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Heart &amp; Stroke Foundation or to Inverness Consolidated Hospital\u2019s new Family room.
