Age 85, of Ch\u00e9ticamp passed away peacefully on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset. \u00a0Born in Ch\u00e9ticamp, she was the daughter of the late Pierre (Pit) Poirier and H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Aucoin.<\/p>\n
Olive was an avid bingo player. She enjoyed listening to the music of many local musicians. She will be remembered for her generosity towards her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She took much pride in her family. We wishes to thank the staff of Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset for their compassionate care over the years.<\/p>\n
Olive is survived by sons; Normand (Marie Sylvie), Ch\u00e9ticamp, Rh\u00e9al (Yvelle), Dartmouth; daughters, Marie Edna (Larry), Newfoundland, No\u00eblla, Ch\u00e9ticamp; brothers, Arthur, David (Hilda); sister, Am\u00e9lia (Paul) Roach; grand-children, C\u00e9leste, Jean-Pierre, Chantale, Dominique, Fran\u00e7ois; great-grandchildren, Myl\u00e8ne, Luka, Ben, Emily, Sophie.\u00a0 She was predeceased by her husband, Willie Joe; brothers, Hubert, Anselme-Alphonse, Xavier, Alex Joe, Simi John, Wilfred; sisters, Elizabeth, Marie Flora, Annie Belle, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Rose, Marie Eunice, Marie-Edna, Marie.\u00a0 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Ch\u00e9ticamp Funeral Home, Ch\u00e9ticamp.\u00a0 Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 16, at 1:00pm in \u00c9glise Saint-Pierre, Ch\u00e9ticamp with Fr.
