Age 71, Cheticamp. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Laurette Chiasson on Friday,
\nJuly 5, 2019 at the QEII\u00a0Health Sciences Centre in Halifax. We will remember Laurette for always having her door open with a warm, loving heart and sweets on the table, and her great
\nlove for her family. She was always ready for a good game of cards. We will always remember her for her strong faith.<\/p>\n
Laurette is survived by her husband, of 49 years, Daniel Joseph Chiasson; daughters, Donna Chiasson (Jules Camus) and Gisele Chiasson (Trevor MacNeil); brothers, Clarence (Linda) , Arthur (Sylvia) ,
\nDaniel (Cassie) , Levis (Blanche) ; sister, Rita Murphy; grandchildren, Shannon, Samantha (Keenan), Morgan, Becka, and Ciara; great-grandchildren, Ella and Carly. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Louise (AuCoin) Deveau; brothers, Wilfred, Alphonse, Yvon, Lionel, and Hector; sisters, Marie Anne (in infancy), and Yvonne. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 11, 2019, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in Cheticamp Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019, at 10:30 a.m. in \u00c9glise Saint Pierre, Cheticamp, with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating.
