Age 72, Ch\u00e9ticamp, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Ch\u00e9ticamp. He was the son of the late Hubert and the late Cecile Anne (Doucet) Poirier.<\/p>\n
Albert was a boilermaker for 47 years, Local 73. He was a Montreal Canadian fan, member of l\u2019AMAC amateur music circle jam session, guitar player for many years at talent night with friends Gerard Romard and Chester Delaney, and he enjoyed his morning coffee with his fellow coffee drinkers.<\/p>\n
Albert is survived by his wife Sylvia Poirier; daughter, Lisa Poirier (Robbie Myette), Edmonton, Alta.; brother, Marcel Poirier, Enfield; brothers-in-law, Alphonse, Mississauga, Ont., Marcel, Severin and Pierre-Paul, Ch\u00e9ticamp; sister-in-law, Yvette Chiasson, Ch\u00e9ticamp. He was predeceased by brother-in-law Roderick Chiasson; sisters, Germaine Chiasson and Lorraine Muise; and sister-in-law, Emily MacGregor.<\/p>\n
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in \u00c9glise St. Pierre, Ch\u00e9ticamp with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery at a later date.<\/p>\n
