Age 87, of Ch\u00e9ticamp N.S. passed away peacefully on October 28, 2021 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre. He was the son of the late Simon Muise and the late Mathilde Aucoin.<\/p>\n
Georgie worked at Ford Motor Company for almost 30 years. He lived in Brantford, Ontario until 2013 when they decided to return home to their hometown of Ch\u00e9ticamp. Georgie loved to pick wild berries, go out for coffee, play cards, and go for drives in the Cape Breton Highlands National Park where he was born. He enjoyed the view from his home overlooking Ch\u00e9ticamp harbour and watch all the fishing boats.<\/p>\n
Georgie was predeceased by his first wife Marie Th\u00e9r\u00e8se Doucet and his second wife Lorraine Poirier. He was also predeceased by four brothers, Denis, Wilfred, Arthur and Joseph Leo; three sisters, Yvonne, Isabelle and Jeannette.<\/p>\n
He leaves to mourn, Dave (Kelley) Muise and Dan (Ruth) Muise, Maurice Deveau, Roger (Dana) Deveau, Lise (Bruno) Gaudet, Michelle (Jules) Chiasson; grandchildren, Paige (Randall), Amber, Tanner, Brody, Hannah, Hailey, Jeannot (Lindsay), Mario (Kaitlyn); great-grandchildren, Trent, Rachel and Eva.<\/p>\n
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 4th, 2021, at 10:30am in \u00c9glise Saint-Pierre, Ch\u00e9ticamp with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.<\/p>\n
Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Patient Fund or Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.<\/p>\n
