It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved sister and aunt, Kathy, on Friday, December 24, 2021 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. She was the daughter of the late Frank and the late Rita (Covin) Collet.<\/p>\n<p>Kathy will always be remembered for her love of cats, cards, and Bingo. There was never a dull moment when she was around. She always had a little joke or comment to make us laugh. Her love of music took her to many places over the years with her late husband, Lloyd. Kathy died peacefully surrounded by family after a very short battle with cancer. \u201cWe will love you forever!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kathy is survived by brothers, Donald (Lucie Anne) Collet, and Pat (Caroline) Collet; sister, Marie (Kenny) O\u2019Toole; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, David Lloyd Sampson, she was predeceased by a daughter, Mary Sampson (infancy); and a brother, Chickie Collet.<\/p>\n<p>Due to COVID 19 restrictions, a funeral service will be held at a later date.<\/p>\n<p>Donations in Kathy\u2019s memory may be made to Palliative Care Services, Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp, or Cape Breton Cancer Patient Fund.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Age 64, Cheticamp.
