He was a son to the late Eddie John and the late Annie (Poirier) Poirier.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie was a man of few words. He preferred to express his love through actions. One example was seen in the devotion and care he showed to his wife, Pauline, during their 57 years of marriage. When Charlie wasn\u2019t with Pauline and his family, he was happiest when fishing with his great friends.<\/p>\n<p>Charlie is survived by his son, Robert Leo (Michelle) Poirier; brothers, Roger (Priscille) Poirier, Willie Joe (Dorella) Poirier, Albert (Doris) Poirier, Roland Poirier; sister, Jeannine Poirier. He was predeceased by his wife Pauline Poirier.<\/p>\n<p>A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 10:30 am in St. Peter\u2019s Cemetery, Cheticamp.
