LeBlanc"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Age 75, resident of Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset Guest Home, Cheticamp passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Guest Home. David was a son of the late Placide and the late Dora (Aucoin) LeBlanc.<\/p>\n<p>David worked for the Boilermakers Local 73 for over 35 years. He loved camping and travelling and followed the bluegrass festivals. He liked cross country skiing, and hiking and in his spare time he liked doing jigsaw puzzles, and of course he loved the Montreal Canadiens!<\/p>\n<p>David is survived by his wife, Isabelle (Doucet) LeBlanc; sons, Jason (Melissa) LeBlanc, and Shawne (Robin) LeBlanc; daughter, Tammy (Dale) Freeman; brothers, Donat LeBlanc, Rene LeBlanc, and Bert LeBlanc; sisters, Annette MacDonald, and Dorella Poirier; grandchildren, Logan and Declan Freeman, Marcus LeBlanc, and Sidney and Lucas Parise.<\/p>\n<p>Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his brother, Ernest LeBlanc; and sisters, \u00c9milia LeBlanc, and Merina LeBlanc.<\/p>\n<p>A private graveside service will be held, for family only, in St. Peter\u2019s Cemetery, Cheticamp. Donations may be made in David\u2019s memory to the Alzheimer\u2019s Society of Nova Scotia or Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset.<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks to the staff of the Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset, as well as the doctors and volunteers for the care provided to David during his battle with Alzheimers.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Age 75, resident of Foyer P\u00e8re Fiset Guest Home, Cheticamp passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the Guest Home.
