Age 80 of St. Joseph du Moine passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. She was a daughter to the late Jimmy and the late Judith (Roach) Bourgeois.<\/p>\n
Cecile cherished her family and friends. She was a eucharistic minister and sacristan for many years at St. Joseph’s Parish, Saint Joseph du Moine and was very devoted to her faith. She also enjoyed the church choir. She loved bingo and was always ready to play a game of cards.<\/p>\n
Cecile is survived by her sons, Andr\u00e9 (Simonne), Cheticamp, Robert, Lower Sackville, and Real (Jacqueline), St. Joseph du Moine; daughters, Yvette (Wayne), N.E. Margaree, and Jeannine (Bob), Newfoundland; brothers, Joseph (Chris), Emmanuel (Marlene), and Charlie (Georgina); sisters, Luce Yvonne MacDonnell and Marie Eveline Maillet; grandchildren, Ryan (Madina) and Kyle (Alicia); great grandchildren, Silas and Nora.<\/p>\n
Besides her husband, Edmond AuCoin, she was predeceased by her brothers, Yvon, Wilfred, and Clovie; sisters, Marguerite Alma AuCoin and Marie Jeannette Harris; niece, Lynn Maillet and grand niece, Karen LeBlanc.<\/p>\n
There will be a visitation from 9:30 AM until time of funeral mass at 10:30 AM on Saturday October 21, 2023 in St. Joseph\u2019s Church, St. Joseph du Moine with Father Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.<\/p>\n
