Age 71, Bellevue Complex, Grand-Étang, passed away in the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Yvon was a son of the late Noel and the late Yvonne (Chiasson) AuCoin. He is survived by special friend, Donalda; son, Kenneth (Stephanie); daughter, Myra (Glen); brothers, Clifford (Frances), Gelasse (Wilfredine), Laurent, Wayne, and Emile (Jennifer); sisters, Linda (Michel), Annie Blanche (Vince), Odile (Jerry), and Della (Dave); grandchildren, Luc, Benson, and Beckett. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brother, Robert; sister, Noella; nieces, Doreen and Joanne; nephew, Kenneth.
There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church, St. Joseph du Moine with Father Pierre Antoine St. Cyr officiating. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Joseph du Moine. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, funeral mass is for family and friends (by invitation only).
Donations may be made to St. Joseph’s Parish, or LeMoine Volunteer Fire Dept.
