Age 88 of Grand-Étang, Inverness County. We announce the passing of our mother which occurred on June 21st, 2018 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre. Born in Friar’s Head, she was the daughter of the late John Burns and Annie (Doucet) Burns. Lucy Dora is survived by daughters, Lucille Aucoin (Toronto), Linda Aucoin (Grand-Étang), Sylvia Haché (George), Point Cross, Doreen Aucoin (Réné Tartaglia), Grand-Étang; brothers, Alex John Burns (Marie Louise), Portugese Cove, Roger Burns (Mary), Trenton; sisters Loretta Aucoin, Chéticamp, Velma LeBlanc, Cap LeMoine, Bernadette LeBlanc (Arthur), Belle-Côte; grandchildren, Melissa Cromwell (Danny), Mandy McLeod, Paul McLeod, Zachary Haché (Han), Jonathan Haché (Yumika), Justin Haché, Michael Haché (Amanda), Marie Claire Tartaglia, Jean-Jacques Tartaglia, Rémi Tartaglia; great-grandchildren, Vincent Palermo, Julianna Palermo, Kimberley McLeod, Cameron Cromwell, Cassandra Cromwell, Jayden Haché, Alice Haché. Besides her parents, Lucy Dora was predeceased by her husband Clovy Aucoin; brothers Thomas Burns (Antoinette), Lionel Burns (Marie Stella). Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Monday (today) from 9:30am till time of funeral mass at 10:30am both in Saint Joseph’s church, Saint-Joseph-du-Moine with Fr. Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Sacred Heart Hospital Charitable Foundation.
