Marie Pauline Fraser

Marie Pauline Fraser

Age 87, Cheticamp. We are saddened to announce the passing of our mother, Pauline Fraser who died on June 7, 2020 at the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre. She was the daughter of the late Paul and the late Clothilde (Deveau) Poirier. Pauline was born on August 31, 1932. In her early years, Pauline was a teacher and also worked at the Royal Bank in Cheticamp. Throughout her life, she was dedicated to her family and home. She enjoyed baking, cooking, and hosting large family gatherings. No matter when you dropped by Pauline’s, you were sure to be offered a hot cup of tea. Pauline enjoyed knitting and her sons-in-law always looked forward to receiving her beautiful hand-knit socks. Pauline had a strong faith and always put others ahead of herself. She was happiest when surrounded by her family and always looked forward to visits with her children and grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the Foyer Père Fiset and the Sacred Heart Community Health Centre for their excellent care and kindness.

I was just reading the obituaries and seen this beautiful lady had passed away. I believe that she is the person that I was named after. My name is Effie Pauline Moore and my mother was Hilda Moore from Pleasant Bay she stayed with her family in Cheticamp when she was having me. I had never met her but she looks like she was a beautiful soul and I am sorry for your loss. Now I can put a picture to who she was. Condolences to the family.
