Age 101, Arsenault Hill, Margaree, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Sacred Heart Community Health Centre, Cheticamp. She was a daughter to the late Jean Dumauresq and the late Philomene (Légère) Dumauresq.
Born in St. Isidore, N.B., Mary Anna was the thirteenth of seventeen children and the last surviving member of her family.
Mary Anna is survived by a son, Charles A. LeBlanc (Dianne); daughter A. Sylvia LeBlanc; grandchildren, Phyllis, Marion, Clifford, Wayne, Rovena, Harvey, and John; great grandchildren, Gabrielle, Breanna, Dominic, Giselle, Melissa, Haley, Curtis, Anna Marie, Alex, and Travist; brother-in-law Malcolm.
Besides her husband, Albert, she was predeceased by a son, Charles (age 2); daughters, Martina and Helen; 4 brothers and 12 sisters; son-in-law, Mose.
There will be no visitation. A funeral mass will be celebrated (by invitation only) on Friday, January 15, 2021 at 11:00 am in St. Michael’s Church, Margaree with Father Peter LeBlanc officiating. Burial in the parish cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Michael’s Parish.
